Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PHP Programmer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP programming, a solid understanding of web development principles, and a passion for creating high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly, efficient applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Integrate data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases) with PHP applications.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Document development processes, code changes, and application functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer (2+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
