Job Description
Job Overview: As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paints, stains, and finishes to various surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will contribute to the overall success of our projects and ensure that our clients are satisfied with the final results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Select and mix paints and finishes according to specifications.
- Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter in a residential or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of various painting styles and techniques.
- Experience with drywall repair and surface preparation.
- Certification in safety training (OSHA or equivalent).
